Dr. Radhouane Masmoudi is Professor at the Civil Engineering Department of the Université de Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada

 

His research activities involve the use of advanced composites materials for the civil engineering and utility applications, including analysis, design and development of new Fiber Reinforced Polymers (FRP) products.

 

Dr. Masmoudi’s current research fields include:

-          Use of FRP tubes filled with concrete as a compression or flexural member for concrete structures

-          Use of FRP bars as reinforcement for concrete structures

-          Evaluation of thermal effects on FRP reinforced concrete structures

-          Use of FRP poles for utility applications

-          Finite element modeling of FRP reinforced concrete and composite materials structures
